I love summer, especially the bright colors you can get away with wearing! The weather, activities, and cute clothes are all elements in summer that everyone loves. However, what I love most of all about summer is road trips! Yesterday, my brother, BF and two of my cousins decided to drive up to Rochester to hang out. We had tons of fun from shopping, swimming and eating! I decided to wear this yellow ruffle dress I got from H&M (on sale of course for $10!). Since it was my first time wearing it, I was so excited! I think it's one of those perfect, casual summer dresses (even though a lady at a rest stop asked me if I was attending a wedding ;p).

Flowers and Lace

What I'm Wearing: Lace crop top and chiffon floral skirt from H&M, gladiator sandals from Charlotte Russe and earrings from Forever21. 

I had a very productive day today! I went swimming in the morning, then decided to run some errands. I need a new memory stick for my camera, so I decided to go to Walmart to pick one up. I also received a 20% off coupon from Ulta, so I decided to get the Urban Decay All Nighter since I heard so many great things about it! I'll let you guys know if it's really as good as everyone says it is.  I decided to wear this chiffon maxi skirt with a cropped lace top. I love how the skirt flows, and how the top drapes. This outfit is definitely one of my most comfortable ones yet!

Haul #2

Hey guys! Sorry I've been so MIA. I've been in the city for the past couple of weeks and I forgot my camera home! I recently went to Canal St. the other day and I discovered so many boutiques! I didn't intend to go shopping, it was more of an business trip but I couldn't help myself! I didn't get to spend long, but I managed to pick up a few things. I finally found a pair of leopard wedges I can't wait to wear! I'll definitely be doing a outfit post tomorrow so stay tuned.

Warby Parker

So on my hunt for nerdy looking glasses, I stumbled upon a company called Warby Parker. A classmate of mine interned there for his senior CO-OP and I remembered all the great things he said about the company. Whats really cool is that they let you try on 5 frames at home for free, with free shipping and free return! I placed my order a couple of weeks ago and within days my package arrived with the 5 frames I choose from the website. They also have a virtual try-on at home, where you can upload a picture of yourself to virtually try-on the glasses. The best part is the affordability! A pair of glasses with your prescribed lens (which is anti-reflective by the way) is only $95! Plus you get free shipping and 30 day returns. I didn't take pictures with myself wearing the frames, but I did take pictures of the frames that I choose itself.

Hot Pink Blazer

What I'm Wearing: Thrifted hot pink blazer, white T-Shirt from TJ Maxx, jeans, belt and earrings from Forever21, polka dot wedges from Charlotte Russe and gold watch from Michael Kors.

Yesterday was so hot in NYC! I don't know what possessed me to wear a blazer, but I did and I loved it! I got this blazer at a thrift store couple of months ago. It's really oversized, but I decided that I could make it work with a belt cinched at my waist. I love the color and the pockets on the blazer. I decided to pair the outfit with retro earrings and polka dot wedges.

Summer Blush

What I'm Wearing: White pants and blush blouse from H&M, nude flats from Khols, black vintage bag, earring from Forever21 and gold watch from Michael Kors.

I went out on Saturday with a bunch of people for my BF's Bday. We had lots of fun! We went to dinner, went bowling, than watched a movie. Horrible Bosses is a must see, it is HILARIOUS! I decided to wear some pieces I got from my H&M sale shopping spree. I paired the white pants with the blush top. I love putting together neutral outfits. I added in these nude flats, which was a steal as well. (I think I got them for $6 at Khols). Altogether my outfit was probably around $20! I love the fact that you can shop on a budget and still look expensive! I would love to see your budget friendly outfits. Leave a link in the comment section below!

Since I got such great deals this week, I figured I'll do a haul to show you what I got! I went into H&M the other day and found some really cute clothes for only $7 each! I know, what a steal!! I also got some really good deals on Hautelook.com from their Lucca Couture blowout! (Sorry about the crappy background in the pictures, i'm by my BF's house and his room isn't as pretty as mines ;p. Yesterday was my BF's Birthday. I made dinner reservations at a Thai restaurant in the city. If your in the the NYC area, you should definitely check it out! It's called Talent Thai and its on 34th st. and 3rd ave. The food was great, service was quick and the interior atmosphere was relaxing and well decorated! After dinner, we got gelato and went to the movies. We ended up seeing Transformers 3, it was ok but I wasn't really into it.

BTW, H&M is having some really good deals right now. I think they just marked down their sale items. I got a whole bunch of stuff for $7 each! The skirt I'm wearing in this post is from H&M as well, it's apart of their new color blocking collection, I think I paid around $10 for it! So if your in a bargain shopping mood, deff check out your local H&M!

I also decided to post some pics of the man behind my photos! He doesn't dress up this often so I had to snap some pics of this scarce occasion!

Hey Guys, sorry for my absence. I had a family tragedy this weekend. I did take these pics out the other day and thought I'd post it today so I won't go another week without posting at all. Fireworks!

I am so sorry I haven't been updating my blog everyday. My photographer (aka my bf), has been extremely busy. I was so desperate today, I asked my dad to take the pics and lo and behold he actually did a great job! So no more excuses, I will (hopefully) be posting everyday.

So every year my town usually host a firework show the week after the 4th of July. It's really fun, everyone comes from the neighboring towns to watch the display. I took some pics of the outfit I wore and tried to snap a few pics of the fireworks from my iPhone as well. I tried to take as much pictures as possible before the sun went down while coaching my dad on how to use my nikon! On another note, I will be attempting to do some tutorials later this week, mainly hair and DIY jewelry. Also, if you guys have any request please leave them in the comment box below. New Shoes!

Hey guys! So I went to the mall to get my feather extensions, but I didn't really like the ones they had left and they were charging an arm and a leg to install them. I think I might just order them online and install them myself. If I do, I'll post a tutorial on how to install your own feather extensions. Anyways, I figured since I drove all the way here might as well go shopping! I've been looking for comfortable heeled wedges, I have a couple but they hurt my feet after a while. I found these at Aldo's on sale for $38.00! I think I'll start posting hauls every time I go shopping, what do you guys think? Red, white and Fabulous!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Today we had a BBQ by my aunts house. We went in the pool and lit fireworks! I love the summer, especially hot sunny days like today!

For my outfit I decided to not be so literal with the red, white and blue. I choose a tribal print blue dress with white accessories and tied in the red with my lipstick. Spectacles

Hey guys! So, I went to a mall in Jersey yesterday to see Bad Teacher (which was hilarious by the way) and found these frames from Urban Outfitters for $12! I was going to take pictures of the glasses by itself, but decided might as well take some pics of my outfit as well. I stopped by Woodbury Commons outlet center today, which is like 10 minutes from my house, to check out the 4th of July deals they had going on. I bought 4 things from J Crew for $25! I didn't get to go into too many stores since I got there at 8pm and the mall closed at 9pm.

I also discovered a kiosk in the mall (in Jersey) that does feather extensions! I will definitely be venturing over there this week to get them. I'll keep you posted on the outcome of the extensions.

July Wish List

So like any girl, we all have wish list! The beginning of every month, I'll post the top 10 things I want for the month. Whenever I get an item from my wish list I'll let you guys know, whether it be in a styling post or just a random update! I would also love to know what are your top 10 things you want for the month of July! If you do something similar on your blog post a link below, or just write a list in the comment section of your top 10 wish list for July!

1. Pink Jeans - I've been wanting a pair of pink jeans for a while! When I was interning last semester, my supervisor had a pair and I instantly fell in love. I found this pair at asos.com. They're on sale too!

2. Tail Hem Dress - I love this trend! I especially love that fast fashion retailers are starting to create less expensive versions the same season, making it attainable for fashion junkies like me who lack millions of dollars ;p. Lulus.com has a lot of tail hem dresses, however the one above is my favorite! The frills of the dress play into the 70's trend as well, which I love!

3. Sheer Maxi Skirt - I love maxi skirts! I think they are so feminine. However, the sheerness of the maxi skirt above gives it an edge that is most deff calling my name!!! I found this skirt on Romwe.com. This site is awesome, it has a lot of trendy pieces for affordable prices. Also, they select a handful of fashion bloggers to give their personal style to the garments!

4. Feather Extensions - OMG, this is a must have! I love feathers! I think it gives you a boho, 70's look! I will deff me purchasing some extensions next week. I'll do a post to show you how they came out! I found these feathers on etsy.com, but they are all over the internet! Just search for feather extensions and I guarantee you'll find ones that you love!

5. Jeffery Campbell Lita's - Okay, so I know most of you must be thinking "have you been hiding under a rock?" Almost every fashion blogger has a pair of these babys, but honestly interning full time for free kind of prevented me from spending big bucks on my fashion desires! Lita's are a must for the 70's fashion trend, and they will be in position shortly! (I hope). You can kind them in all different shapes and colors, all over the internet but I think mine will be purchased on Karmaloop.com!

6. OPI Shatter Nail Polish - If you can't tell by now, I'm a nail polish fanatic! I love to accessorize my outfits with bright and/or interesting colors on my nails and lips. I got hook on the crackle craze when my previous supervisor brought me back a bottle of black crackle polish from Hong Kong. Ever since then I've been collecting shatter nail polishes from OPI, China Glaze and Sally Hansen. I really want the blue and turquoise shatter polish from OPI, these colors are not in my position yet but soon will be! I found a great deal on amazon.com, selling both of these colors for $12!

7. Leopard Print Wedges - I love prints, especially leopard! I instantly fell in love with these wedges! I already planned a outfit around them, that is why I'm ordering them from Forever21.com as we speak! :D

8. Big Black Framed Glasses - For my lipstick post, I popped out the lenses from my 3D movie glasses on a whim to see how they would look with my outfit and red lips and I instantly fell in love with the look. I never thought about wearing these big nerdy frames before, in horror of traveling back in the past of my geeky phase during middle school, but I totally love the look and whilst on the hunt for finding the perfect pair I came across this pair from Michael Kors. They are the Michael Kors Ophthalmic MK652, if any of you are interested in joining the nerd brigade with me! ;p

9. High Waisted Bikini - I am absolutely in love with this bikini! I'm really loving this retro trend, but the added bonus of the polka dots sold me over! I found this bikini at Modcloth.com, and for $90 its a steal compared to the $300 Marc by Marc Jacobs bikini that I wish would magically appear in my closet with no questions asked!

10. Bright Colored Envelope Clutch - Last but not least, is the final touch to my attempt of perfecting color blocking. The color, shape and size of this clutch is perfect (and the price is not bad either!) I found this tangerine colored clutch from Asos.com. Not only is it on trend for this season, but the detailing gives it a vintage edge. This clutch will deff be a purchase I make this month, even if I don't fulfill the entirety of my wish list!
