Today's post is about accessorizing with your lips! I wanted to demonstrate how your makeup can transform your look! Bright, bold colors are in this summer, especially for lip colors. In the summer, I usually keep my face bare with the exception of a bright lip. So to demonstrate how I accessorize my outfits with makeup I decided to dress how I normally would when I'm in a rush or just doing errands. With little to no accessories, with the exception of my ring, necklace and my black 3D movie glasses :), I transformed each look with a swatch of lip color!

Beauty Extra: MAC Wonder Woman Collection lipstick in Spitfire

So I decided to post a older picture for you guys from my visit to the Hamptons. My contacts ripped so instead of waiting to do a new post, I decided to dig up some older pictures! A hunting we will go!

What I'm Wearing: Khaki Michael by Michael Kors dress, black Forever21 shoes, black vintage bag, gold Michael Kors watch, gold Forever 21 ring and earrings and cheetah print sunglasses.

I went to the mall today to hunt for the last items I'm going to include in my giveaway. Thanks to Teresa from trend-ish.com  for suggesting a summer theme for the giveaway. I will be posting more info on the the final items and how to enter later today, so make sure to check back later!

So for my outfit, I wore the Michael Kors dress with my Forever21 laced up shoes to give my outfit a more trendy look. I also paired the outfit with a cheetah print sunglasses to give it an element of print! I'm also loving my hot pink nail polish! I think it just brightens up the outfit and gives it an unexpected pop of color! Hot pink and tangerine shades are my favorite color nail polishes to wear this summer. Weekend Fun!

What I'm Wearing: Striped maxi dress from Forever21, bow studs from Forever21, trifted vintage bag, black sandals from Michael by Michael Kors.

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did!!! Saturday I went to Six Flags Great Adventure, which was a lot of fun!!! I apologize for not posting my outfit, but I literally had no time at all. Today my family and I went to the park to celebrate Father's Day. The striped maxi dress I wore was perfect for the weather! Not only was it super comfortable, but since the fabric is cotton it kept me cool all day! I paired the outfit with my Michael by Michael Kors sandals and a pair of studs. I didn't want to over do myself on the accessories since I knew that I would be playing sports with the boys!

70's Chic

What I'm Wearing: Romper from H&M, floppy hat from Forever21, Chunky heels from Charlotte Russe, necklace and earrings from Forever21, gold Michael Kors watch and gold BCBGeneration slang bracelet.

I love 70's fashion! Some of my favorite fashion icons of the 60's/70's are Bianca Jagger, Bridget Bardot and Rachel Zoe. Ok, I know Rachel Zoe was not a fashion icon of the 60's or 70's, but her style emulates that era. I found this romper at H&M and instantly fell in love! I paired the outfit with a floppy hat and a tassel necklace. I also love the rope belt that came with the romper, it just completes the outfit!

I'm so excited, tomorrow I'm going to Six Flags Great Adventure! I'll try my best to snap some shots of my outfit before I leave. I'm in the process right now trying to figure out what to wear! Hey, a girl always has to look her best right, even if its to a theme park!

The After Party

After the award show, the boyfriend and I decided to go to Pommes Frites! I seriously think they have the BEST fries in the whole of NYC! What makes their belgium fries so superb is their famous dipping sauces. My fav are Vietnamese Pineapple, Mango Chutney and Sun dried Tomato!! Mmm Delish! We found this graffitied gate right by Pommes Frites, I though it was the perfect backdrop for my outfit!

Handbag Awards

Here are some of the highlights from the Handbag award show. As you can see, there were some pretty impressive designs. My favorites were the banana bag and the flower bag, both were designed primarily with Swarovski crystals. It was really inspiring to see young and budding designers showcase their talents. It made me anxious to start designing a line of my own, but I have to patient! That's not a part of the plan as yet! Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Hey everyone! I just wanted to do a quick blog post of a outfit I wore the other day. This was probably the best deal I was ever so lucky to land upon! I got this awesome Calvin Klein blazer at the thrift store for, drum roll.....$2.99. Can you believe that! I didn't even realize it was Calvin Klein until I got home! Anyway, I paired the blazer with a cream dress from H&M. I'm really loving this outfit, I can't wait to actually wear it out somewhere!

 I have to speed this up, I'm getting dressed to go to the 5th Annual Independent Handbag Designer Awards with my friend Mariela. I'll be posting pictures of the event in tomorrow's post, so stay tuned!

Vintage Charm

Today was another cloudy day in Upstate New York. Since the sun is hiding, making it cool and breezy outside, I decided to wear my vintage silk top with a pair of cute shorts I got from Forever21. I love vintage shopping! I just discovered a thrift store upstate with some really good finds! I got this silk top for only $2.99! What a deal right? Well, I decided to go to the mall to look for an outfit for tomorrow. I will be attending the 5th Annual Independent Handbag Designer Awards with my friend Mariela Polanco, who is also a blogger (I'll post a link to her blog below so you can check it out!).  I will be blogging about the event later this week, so stay tuned for pictures!

Backyard Safari

What I'm Wearing: thrifted cheetah print top, khaki pants from Zara, open toe chunky heels from Charlotte Russe, thrifted envelope clutch, H&M hat, earrings from Charlotte Russe, Michael Kors watch and BCBGeneration slang bracelet.

Today was really cloudy and a bit chilly in Upstate New York. Since I graduated I find myself having a lot of spare time, so I decided why not hang out in my backyard and help my parents garden. Since I am never really home, I figured I'll spend some quality time with the folks. My mom decided to build a miniature "gazebo", the results should be interesting! I'll post pics of her gazebo as soon as my dad is finished building it. Since this is my first post, let me know if you would rather have only one picture of my outfit or more than one like I did in this post. Well I'm off to continue my quest for a job!
