Patterned Jean Shorts

For today's look I wanted to pair this patterned shorts from Vanilla Star Jeans with a contrasting, orange chiffon top I bought from a boutique in New York. I love the color combo of this outfit. I like that this look is very versatile and can be worn day or night.

Polka Dot Middi Dress

I've noticed there is a lot of polka dot print clothing in my closet. For some, that may come as a bit of concern. However, I love polka dots! Polka dot prints are very retro, and in my opinion it makes whatever outfit your wearing with this print very feminine. I found this flowy polka dot midi dress this weekend at Forever 21. I love how easy the dress it. I decided to toughen up the dress by adding a faux leather vest, black chuck heeled sandals and my black hipster cowboy hat. I love to mix hard and soft pieces. Floral Print Chiffon Pants

I love wearing chiffon. It's a light, airy fabric that just flows effortlessly when you move. Today I paired a floral print chiffon pant with a flowy chiffon top. I decided to wear a statement necklace as my accent piece to.

The Green Midi Skirt

One of my favorite fashion trends this season are midi skirts. Midi skirts are so easy to wear. You can just pair a midi skirt with a basic tee or tank and your look is complete. Whether you dress it up or dress it down, midi skirts definitely make your outfit look very feminine. I paired this kelly green midi skirt with this fun chiffon polka dot sleeve crop top from Forever 21. Can you believe I bought this kelly green midi skirt about 3 years ago at H&M? Fashion definitely does reinvent itself. Sometimes its a good idea to hold on to your trendier pieces because you never know when the trend will resurface! 

I'm sorry for my lack of posting last week. I went to New York for my sister-in-law's bridal shower and IMATS and did not get a chance to take any pictures of my outfits. White, Mint & Gold

I love wearing metallics with pastels. For today's outfit I paired a mint green blouse with a white skirt and gold shoes. I love playing with colors and patterns. Adding the brown snakeskin clutch to my outfit helped to balance out the look. As the weather is starting to get warmer, I'm leaning more towards a colorful wardrobe. Bright Prints

I love wearing bright and colorful outfits, especially in bright prints. The key to wearing bold colorful prints is to pair it with solid colors that is a part of the print. I found this bright printed dress from windsor and instantly fell in love! I love the shape of the dress. The neckline and blouson of the bodice makes the dress very flattering. I decided to wear a bright blue blazer and a turquoise bag, which are colors I pulled from the print of the dress. Adding colorful bracelets and gold wingtip shoes adds to the bright colors in the outfit. Sorry for missing a post yesterday, I'm still recovering from all the Lucky Fabb activities I took part of this past weekend. Stripes and Denim

Today's look is all about playing with textures and prints. I would normally pair this striped skirt with a basic black or white top, but I wanted to mix it up today. Sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone and be a little daring. So I decided to pair a worn in denim shirt with a elastic striped black and white skater skirt. Peace & Love

Sometimes you just want to feel comfortable! Today's look was inspired by music festival season, but in a casual and affordable way. When you running errands on the weekends, you do not want to be in 5 inch heels and a mini skirt because I'm pretty sure the folks at Target will be looking at you a bit funny! Almost everything I'm wearing today is from TJ-Maxx. I've re-discovered TJ-Maxx after moving to California. The selection at the store near me definitely has me wanting to go on a crazy shopping spree. My entire outfit was under $70, can you believe that?

I also styled my outfit today in tribute to all those, including myself, that wished they could be at Coachella this year! Music festivals are so much fun! I'm hoping to score tickets to next year festivities. Comment below if anyone is going, I would love to see your outfits!

Fun at Sea

This weekend my husband took me Whale Watching at Newport Beach. It was a great experience and an awesome way to kick off my Birthday weekend celebration. I love the ocean and I love the sea, so this was something that  I was totally excited for!  Plus, I love whales and dolphins and seals and fishes….basically all aquatic animals! I decided to wear something very casual because we were on a boat. I know today's outfit isn't as exciting, but I hope you guys enjoy today's post!

Tell Em' That's It's My Birthday!

First off I want to apologize for the bad image quality of the pictures. Imran (my husband) got home a little late from work yesterday. The sun was setting when we were leaving so I just decided to take the pictures quickly outside. I also apologize for the ugly background! I really wanted to post up my Birthday outfit. We went to a really nice restaurant and got some macaroons for dessert so the night was perfect! I'll be doing some exciting things this weekend and sure enough I'll have some photos to share. Striped Illusion

I have been eyeing this skirt from Express and I'm so happy I finally got my hands on it! I love the ladylike silhouette of the skirt. The see through panel adds a touch of sass that makes the skirt look very contemporary and desiner-esque! The weather is starting to get nicer here in LA, so I'm going to wear the heck out of this skirt before it gets too unbearably hot! Laid Back Afternoon

Sometimes you don't really feel like dressing up. Today's outfit was literally just a pull on and run out the door look. My husband and I were just running some errands and I didn't feel like dressing up or having people awkwardly stare at me, which at this point I'm use to. I paired the same cat sequin tee with acid washed high waisted jeans. I love wearing crop tops with high waisted jeans because in my opinion they compliment each other. I also love this sequin cat shirt, it's so versatile.

It's Britney Bitch!

Last month I attended the Piece of Me Concert in Las Vegas. It was probably the best experience I've ever had in my life! Not only did I have front row tickets, but I was also VIP which made the entire experience unbelievable! I've been a fan of Britney Spears since she came out with Baby One More Time. Ever since then I've been one of her biggest fans! Today's post is dedicated to her concert. Honestly I was so excited for the concert, I barely got to take any pictures of my outfit!
