First off I want to say sorry for being so MIA! Work and life took over for a bit, but I'm back in the game and I'm here to stay! I decided to post my 4th of July outfit, even though I'm technically 4 days late… My husband and I had a pretty low key fourth, we spent the day shopping than had ice cream and watched Fireworks. Patterned Jean Shorts

For today's look I wanted to pair this patterned shorts from Vanilla Star Jeans with a contrasting, orange chiffon top I bought from a boutique in New York. I love the color combo of this outfit. I like that this look is very versatile and can be worn day or night.

I love wearing midi skirts! It's easy to wear and it makes your outfit look really feminine. Today I'm wearing a hot pink midi skirt with a black chiffon top. Blue Chevron Maxi Dress

Maxi dresses are the best thing to wear in my opinion on a sunny, hot day. Not only are they comfortable, but they also make you feel and look very feminine. I found this bright blue chevron print dress at Macy's and I feel in love! I love the contrast pink belt the dress comes in. Also, the cut of the dress is very flattering. I decided to pair the dress with my neon yellow clutch from American Eagle. I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

White Illusion Skirt

I'm loving the interesting skirt trend thats going on this season. It gives your outfit a interesting focal point. Illusion skirts also gives your legs the illusion of looking longer. My advice would to keep the top simple. What I love the most about this illusion midi skirt is the texture. I wanted to mix the texture of the skirt with the spikes of my shoes. Spring TIme Florals

I'm obsessing over floral print this Spring! Today I paired this floral crop top with a solid pink flared skirt. I love how the skirt compliments the pink flowers in the crop top. Whenever you are trying to pair a patterned piece with a solid piece, make sure you pull out one of the colors from the pattern to make the outfit look complete. I balanced the bright colors with a nude bag and shoes. Since there is a lot of color going on in my outfit, I didn't want to look too busy. Laid Back Afternoon

Sometimes you don't really feel like dressing up. Today's outfit was literally just a pull on and run out the door look. My husband and I were just running some errands and I didn't feel like dressing up or having people awkwardly stare at me, which at this point I'm use to. I paired the same cat sequin tee with acid washed high waisted jeans. I love wearing crop tops with high waisted jeans because in my opinion they compliment each other. I also love this sequin cat shirt, it's so versatile.

Vegas Sun

On our way back from the Britney Concert, we decided to do another impromptu photoshoot. The sun was setting and the lighting was just perfect for my outfit! My entire outfit is from Forever 21, can you believe that? I really do like shopping at Forever 21. Fast fashion has really taken over. Stores like H&M, Zara and Forever 21 translate pieces that are on the runway in a mere week into stores giving devoted fashion followers who can't afford the high end price tags a chance to be fashion forward.

Today's outfit was inspired by the glittering gold in the Vegas Strip...and my love for cats! I paired a sequined crop top with a metallic gold skirt. I added a cropped leather jacket to tone down the sparkle. I love being flashy, but sometimes you need to add a neutral piece in your outfit to balance everything out.
