IF YOU'RE GOING TO SAN FRANCISCO

Last week I got the opportunity to go the San Francisco for the weekend. I can probably say San Francisco is probably the most whimsical city I've ever been to. The steep hills, the charming houses and the amazing food makes San Francisco one of my most favorite cities in the US. Not to mention its also the home of my favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers. The only downside is that it can get a little chilly. That's why I paired my outfit with a baseball jacket from H&M. I love the sporty/feminine look of this outfit. Even though it was a bit cold in August, I didn't mind breaking out some fall pieces for this look.

SUNDAY BRUNCHDAY

Who doesn't love brunch? It's breakfast and lunch combined! My husband and I decided to brunch this past Sunday. I wanted to look very feminine thats why I opted for this flared powder pink skirt from Zara. I wore a white crop and nude heels to complete this look.

My camera died by the time we got out meal, so I couldn't take any pictures of our yummy food. However, I promise to make sure it's fully charged next time!

Red White and Cheetah

First off I want to say sorry for being so MIA! Work and life took over for a bit, but I'm back in the game and I'm here to stay! I decided to post my 4th of July outfit, even though I'm technically 4 days late… My husband and I had a pretty low key fourth, we spent the day shopping than had ice cream and watched Fireworks. Distressed Denim

I love distressed denim. A great pair will make any outfit instantly look much cooler. Vanilla Star Jeans provided this awesome pair for today's look. I styled it with a lace top to add texture to the look. I added a pair of flip flops to give my outfit a more causal feel. I will definitely be wearing these shorts all summer long!

Patterned Jean Shorts

For today's look I wanted to pair this patterned shorts from Vanilla Star Jeans with a contrasting, orange chiffon top I bought from a boutique in New York. I love the color combo of this outfit. I like that this look is very versatile and can be worn day or night.

Patchwork Skirt

As you all know I love patterns! I had so much fun styling today's outfit. I love how the polka dot print of the top blends with the geometric shapes of the skirt. Stripes and Dots

I love mixing patterns, especially stripes and polka dots. I like the playfulness both prints give off when mixed together. I paired gold jewelry and added a pop of neon yellow with my clutch. The clear strip on my shoes compliments the stripes in my shirt. I added a bold red lip to compliment the black and white color palette. What do you think of today's outfit? Polka Dot Middi Dress

I've noticed there is a lot of polka dot print clothing in my closet. For some, that may come as a bit of concern. However, I love polka dots! Polka dot prints are very retro, and in my opinion it makes whatever outfit your wearing with this print very feminine. I found this flowy polka dot midi dress this weekend at Forever 21. I love how easy the dress it. I decided to toughen up the dress by adding a faux leather vest, black chuck heeled sandals and my black hipster cowboy hat. I love to mix hard and soft pieces. The one thing I love about styling is the freedom to change your look anytime you want. I love mixing neon colors with neutrals so I decided to pair this black and white striped skirt with a neon chiffon blouse. I added some statement earrings and strappy heels to complete the look. White Illusion Skirt

I'm loving the interesting skirt trend thats going on this season. It gives your outfit a interesting focal point. Illusion skirts also gives your legs the illusion of looking longer. My advice would to keep the top simple. What I love the most about this illusion midi skirt is the texture. I wanted to mix the texture of the skirt with the spikes of my shoes. Blue Stripes

Today's look is a continuation of my colorful outfit obsession. I paired white jeans and white chiffon tank with a structured blue and white striped jacket. I added a neon yellow clutch and jeweled sandals to compliment the bright theme of my outfit. What I've learned about experimenting with colors is to not be afraid to mix colors in your outfit that you wouldn't normally pair together. I like to wear at least one neutral color to balance the look. 

On a side note, I'll be traveling to New York this weekend for my soon to be sister-in law's bridal shower and IMATS New York! White, Mint & Gold

I love wearing metallics with pastels. For today's outfit I paired a mint green blouse with a white skirt and gold shoes. I love playing with colors and patterns. Adding the brown snakeskin clutch to my outfit helped to balance out the look. As the weather is starting to get warmer, I'm leaning more towards a colorful wardrobe. I love wearing crop tops with high waisted pants and skirts. I personally think it makes crop tops look more modern. I decided to pair this super cute crop top with a all over lip print with a faux leather pencil skirt. Today's look is all about playing with textures and prints. I would normally pair this striped skirt with a basic black or white top, but I wanted to mix it up today. Sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone and be a little daring. So I decided to pair a worn in denim shirt with a elastic striped black and white skater skirt. Striped Illusion

I have been eyeing this skirt from Express and I'm so happy I finally got my hands on it! I love the ladylike silhouette of the skirt. The see through panel adds a touch of sass that makes the skirt look very contemporary and desiner-esque! The weather is starting to get nicer here in LA, so I'm going to wear the heck out of this skirt before it gets too unbearably hot! I love looking like I paid more for my outfit than I actually did! Almost everything I'm wearing is from Forever21. I love shopping there because not only can you find the latest trends for less than half the price of other retailers but the quality of their products have been improving!
