Into the Blue

Today's outfit was definitely inspired by the perfect summer's day. This paired this super flirty skirt with a contrast cropped top. Adding a statement necklace in the same color story adds dimension to this outfit. This outfit would be perfect for a summer date or party. Let me know in the comments below what is your perfect summer outfit.

Until next time…

Stripes and Dots

I love mixing patterns, especially stripes and polka dots. I like the playfulness both prints give off when mixed together. I paired gold jewelry and added a pop of neon yellow with my clutch. The clear strip on my shoes compliments the stripes in my shirt. I added a bold red lip to compliment the black and white color palette. What do you think of today's outfit? Floral Print Chiffon Pants

I love wearing chiffon. It's a light, airy fabric that just flows effortlessly when you move. Today I paired a floral print chiffon pant with a flowy chiffon top. I decided to wear a statement necklace as my accent piece to.

I'm planning on stepping out of my comfort zone in next weeks blog posts! So come back next monday to have a look! I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll talk to you in my next post!

Stripes and Denim

Today's look is all about playing with textures and prints. I would normally pair this striped skirt with a basic black or white top, but I wanted to mix it up today. Sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone and be a little daring. So I decided to pair a worn in denim shirt with a elastic striped black and white skater skirt. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of this outfit and I actually got a few compliments wearing it out today! What are some of your fashion risk you have recently taken? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you guys are having a great start to your week. Until next time…

Double Take

I wanted to show you all today how to style a white embosses sweatshirt 2 ways. Re-inventing outfits in your closet is probably one of the most interesting things. You can totally change the entire look of an outfit by just switching the bottom or vice versa. It's about being creative and finding new ways to reinvent the outfit. Don't be shy to wear something you already wore to school or work again. Adding a relaxed pair of jeans with a sequined top can give your outfit a daytime feel. However, by changing the jeans into a leather skirt, your outfit can quickly turn into day to night. Let me know in the comments section below if you would like to see more of this segment on my blog! Until next time…

Vegas Sun

On our way back from the Britney Concert, we decided to do another impromptu photoshoot. The sun was setting and the lighting was just perfect for my outfit! My entire outfit is from Forever 21, can you believe that? I really do like shopping at Forever 21. Fast fashion has really taken over. Stores like H&M, Zara and Forever 21 translate pieces that are on the runway in a mere week into stores giving devoted fashion followers who can't afford the high end price tags a chance to be fashion forward.

Today's outfit was inspired by the glittering gold in the Vegas Strip...and my love for cats! I paired a sequined crop top with a metallic gold skirt. I added a cropped leather jacket to tone down the sparkle. I love being flashy, but sometimes you need to add a neutral piece in your outfit to balance everything out.

Let me know if you love shopping at fast fashion retailers and what your favorite stores are in the comments down below!

Road Trip

I apologize for my lack of post in the last couple of months, but I've been extremely busy because my husband and I have moved to California! Moving out west from the east coast has been a major change. We are still trying to adjust, but so far the experience has been amazing. The weather has been a lot more tolerable than the polar vortex my poor family has been dealing with back east. Although I do miss New York, I am happy that we are finally out here in LA. I'm just one step closer to achieving my dreams, which I will fill you in on once the ball gets rolling.

One of the great things about moving to California is the 3 and 1/2 hour drive out to Las Vegas! Driving through the desert was an unforgettable experience. The views are just breathtaking! Like any Fashion Blogger would, we decided to do a little photo shoot on our way to Vegas.

FYI-I'm trying to mix things up a bit with some DIY post and different fashion segments which I will start posting in weeks to come. Let me know in the comments below what kind of DIY or other fashion related post you would like to see!

I hope everyone's Monday is going great so far!
