The After Party

What I'm Wearing: White H&M blouse, sequined Michael by Michael Kors Skirt, black Forever 21 shoes, forever 21 earrings and ring and white Michael by Michael Kors watch.

After the award show, the boyfriend and I decided to go to Pommes Frites! I seriously think they have the BEST fries in the whole of NYC! What makes their belgium fries so superb is their famous dipping sauces. My fav are Vietnamese Pineapple, Mango Chutney and Sun dried Tomato!! Mmm Delish! We found this graffitied gate right by Pommes Frites, I though it was the perfect backdrop for my outfit!

Handbag Awards

Here are some of the highlights from the Handbag award show. As you can see, there were some pretty impressive designs. My favorites were the banana bag and the flower bag, both were designed primarily with Swarovski crystals. It was really inspiring to see young and budding designers showcase their talents. It made me anxious to start designing a line of my own, but I have to patient! That's not a part of the plan as yet! Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Vintage Charm

What I'm Wearing: Silk vintage thrifted top, shorts from Forever 21, fringe shoes from Steve Madden, Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Canvas bag in Speedy 30, earrings from Forever 21, BCBGeneration slang bracelet, Michael Kors watch.

Today was another cloudy day in Upstate New York. Since the sun is hiding, making it cool and breezy outside, I decided to wear my vintage silk top with a pair of cute shorts I got from Forever21. I love vintage shopping! I just discovered a thrift store upstate with some really good finds! I got this silk top for only $2.99! What a deal right? Well, I decided to go to the mall to look for an outfit for tomorrow. I will be attending the 5th Annual Independent Handbag Designer Awards with my friend Mariela Polanco, who is also a blogger (I'll post a link to her blog below so you can check it out!).  I will be blogging about the event later this week, so stay tuned for pictures!
